Apple Harvest Commercial Photography for T&G Global

T&G Global and their parent company Bay Wa are among the most significant players in the apple growing and export industry, not just in New Zealand but on a global scale. With deep roots in Hawke's Bay — one of the world's great apple growing regions — T&G operate across vast orchards that stretch under the rolling hills of the region, producing premium fruit that ends up in markets across the globe.

The brief for this shoot was to create imagery that did justice to the full story of what T&G do here in the Bay — the sweeping Hawke's Bay landscapes, the scale and sophistication of modern harvest technology, and the beauty of the produce itself. As a Hawke's Bay commercial photographer that kind of multi-layered brief is deeply satisfying to work with. It requires you to think like a storyteller as much as a photographer — moving between wide environmental shots that capture the scale of the operation, detail images that showcase the quality of the fruit, and reportage-style coverage of the harvest in action.

We were blessed with stunning days, and the landscape delivered everything you'd hope for — golden light over the hills, rows of trees heavy with fruit, and the quiet industry of a world-class operation doing what it does best. For any Hawke's Bay commercial photographer this was the kind of shoot you don't forget.
